~ PERSONALIZED Our initial sessions will be dedicated to assessing your current wellness and creating a personalized plan to fit your unique needs and goals.

~ TARGETED Everyone has Triggers and Trauma points when it comes to achieving mental wellness. I’ll work closely with you to help identify and overcome your triggers.

~ INTEGRATIVE Since achieving Mental wellness is more than just exercise and diet, I’ll be guiding you toward other helpful practices such as mindfulness training, Strengths perspective, and more.

A FEW HELPFUL FAQ’s

I’ve never talked to anyone before and I’m used to handling things on my own. am i considered weak for turning to therapy?

Absolutely not. Asking for help when you need it is a courageous act and the truth is that everyone, no matter your background, needs help from time to time. In our work together, I’ll help you explore and identify both your strengths and your areas of opportunity - focusing equally on both to create a balanced and optimistic experience.

What’s the difference between talking to you versus a friend or family member?

Although family and friend support is great! There are limitations that include depth of knowledge, unbiased discussions, and solutions driven by ones personal experience and viewpoint. In our sessions, we will utilize unbiased, scientific modalities to assist in learning new skills and gaining different perspectives while being apart of a judgement free space.

How does coaching & therapy work? Are services covered by my insurance?

Coaching is not covered by insurance. It is a service that is mainly offered to international and out of state clients. As for Therapy, at this time Journeying Beyond Measure is considered to be an Out of Network Insurance provider for residents of Georgia therefore, we offer a superbill that can be submitted to some insurances for partial reimbursement.

How long will it take FOR ME TO SEE PROGRESS?

Everyone’s self-work journey is unique, and the length of time therapy can take to allow you to accomplish your goals depends solely on your desire for personal development, your commitment, and the factors that are driving you to seek guidance. Ultimately, you hold the key to showing up, doing the work and seeing the change you aspire for.

I want to get the most out of therapy. What can I do to help?

I am so glad you are dedicated to getting the most out of your sessions. Because each person has different goals and outcomes, our session structure ranges widely depending on the individual. Each session is tailored to your specific needs. We just ask that you show up with an open mind. Your active participation and dedication will be crucial to success.

shouldn’t I just take medication to feel better?

Medication can be an effective tool, but it alone cannot solve all issues. Sometimes medication is needed in conjunction with counseling, but that is up to you and your doctor to decide. Our work together is designed to explore and unpack the challenges you are experiencing and expand on your unique strengths to assist in accomplishing your personal goals.
